Dance Adjudicator 2025- Kristin Belsham
​With over 20 years teaching experience and a lifetime of involvement in the Performing Arts industry, Kristin is an experienced and knowledgeable professional. Holding teaching qualifications in the Royal Academy of Dance and Comdance organizations, Kristin is passionate about passing on her love of the Performing Arts to students of all ages and abilities. Her students have been very successful in various facets of the Performing Arts, many progressing on to further training institutions and flourishing professional careers in the industry with schools and companies such as: Queensland Ballet Academy, John Cranko School, Stuttgart Ballet Company, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Circus Roncalli, West End, Bachelor of Musical Theatre at the Qld Conservatorium Griffith University, Bachelor of Acting at the Qld Conservatorium and Brent Street Studios Full-Time Courses to name a few. As a teacher, Miss Kristin’s classes are inspiring, energetic and challenging, delivered through a holistic teaching approach. She is always learning new styles and techniques which she enthusiastically shares with all her students. As a mum of two, Kristin in passionate about education in the Arts and the role it plays in the overall development of children.

Music, Speech & Drama Adjudicator - Melissa Buchholz
Trained at DDIAE (USQ) and graduated with the award for Best Performer and the Deans' Trophy for Solfege. She has achieved her Licentiate with Trinity College London in both piano and recorder, and holds a Fellowship with Trinity as well. She achieved her AMusA with distinction and also has a degree in education. In 2023 Melissa was appointed to the examining panel of Trinity College London which sees her travelling internationally to examine.
Melissa’s prestigious teaching career spans over 30 years and her areas of expertise are piano, woodwind and theory. She has performed in the Sydney Opera House on many occasions, has toured the UK and was awarded Young Citizen of the Year for her services to the community in the field of music.
​She has directed many large-scale musical events and also travels extensively throughout Australia presenting workshops in rural/regional areas. Melissa performs regularly in various ensembles and is touring in 2024 with Vanessa Quai and Queens of Song. In 2025 she is touring Australia with Julee-anne Bell from The Voice. She has played keyboard for many music theatre shows including Boy From Oz, We Will Rock You, Kinky Boots, Pirates of Penzance and more. She also has her own backing tracks business, MB Backing Tracks which attracts clients Australia wide.
